Seasonal Variation of Water Qualities in River, Lake and Waterfall in Rangamati and Khagrachhari Hill Tracts, Bangladesh

This study was conducted to investigate the seasonal variation of water qualities for drinking and conservation aquatic organisms from river, lake waterfalls in Chattogram Hill Tracts Bangladesh during pre-monsoon, monsoon post-monsoon seasons period March 2021 February 2022. Water samples were collected four sampling locations analysed research laboratory Department Environmental Science Resource Management, Mawlana Bhashani Technology University. Results recorded on parameters like temperature, EC, TDS, DO, BOD, pH, total alkalinity hardness Kaptai Lake, Chengi River, Shuvolong Risang Waterfalls. The revealed that BOD pH higher pre-monsoon than followed by seasons. On other hand, In waterfalls, DO season when compared provides baseline data physiochemical lake, river at Tracts, which contributes long-term those ecosystems human consumption fisheries management.
